Still being grown there in 1896. Listed in Goodman’s Fruit Catalogues of 1905 – 1911, by Law Sumner in 1915 and in old mail-order catalogues up until the 1930s. Skin colour: dark violet/purple. Pulp colour: pink. Description: Large fruit, great flavour.
